Quincy Amavizca

Chief Medical Instructor

Quincy started his career in the Marine Corps as a Scout Sniper in 2006 and then transitioned to become a Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman (SARC) with the Navy.

As a SARC, he served in MARSOC as the Team Medic on two HALO/HAHO teams. In his role as a Special Operations Combat Medic, he is capable of performing advanced trauma procedures and is a subject matter expert in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).

As a member of those teams Quincy has been the Lead Medic for multiple emergency trauma/mass casualty events. In addition, he has served as an instructor for Reconnaissance Marines providing planning and coordination in the following contexts: close quarter combat, marksmanship, breaching, specialized limited scale raid planning and execution, TCCC, casualty play, live tissue, reconnaissance and surveillance, advanced communication, and advanced photography.
